PMMM: Look to the Sky

From the square sky of this distorted city,
I peeked into a sad flashback.
I'm afraid of losing someone again,

Although she's not the type of character who I'd normally choose to cosplay, I have a lot of feelings about Mami. It really is amazing how much she's fleshed out in the short amount of time that she has in the anime. She's a strong character, and I feel for her.
Cosplaying her has given me a chance to get even more emotionally connected to her and to understand her more. She might be one of my favorite characters now.

A lot of effort and time went into this cosplay. There were several occasions when I almost decided to scrap the whole thing, but in the end, I did finish and wear it. It was a new experience cosplaying such a feminine girl; I certainly won't be doing it again any time soon, but it sure was interesting.
My main concern with the costume itself was how it would be received by Madoka fans, so I was elated to find that people loved it. I'm still shocked at all the wonderful compliments I got. Thanks, everyone! ♥
